Lifestyle Content

I have always had a passion for producing and consuming multimedia content that is uplifting, inspiring and helpful. I find great value in sharing local stories about real people in the community. In fact, creating content that focuses on good news has been my goal since I began pursuing a career in journalism.

One of my favorite projects will always be the 20th Annual Rhode Island National Guard Open House & Air Show, which earned a 2011 New England Emmy Award for special event coverage (other than news or sports). I worked alongside Lt. Col. Denis Riel and Cox Sports New England producers to go behind the scenes and share more about this incredible event that honors and celebrates the talent and courage of the great men and women serving our country.

In addition to hosting the RI Air Show special, I was a co-host of the program, Northeast Adventures, which featured local businesses and sights in the Berkshires. I also acted as a local host for the national program, America’s Best.

After living in Boston for six years, I returned home to New Jersey in 2012 to be closer to family and continue to build my career in the New York/New Jersey market.

That’s when Hurricane Sandy swept through the area and affected many towns, homes and local businesses that I knew personally.  I jumped at the opportunity to work with 5:00 Films & Media as a web series co-host of Rebuilding Together. I interviewed homeowners and other rebuilding players on location, and gathered information from executives, volunteers and those affected by Super Storm Sandy. I took pride in serving as a volunteer sharing the stories of real people affected by the damage caused by high winds and flooding.

America’s Best of the Northeast

I hosted the New England edition of America’s Best, a travel and lifestyle program which highlighted some of the best local attractions and businesses in the Northeast. I assisted in writing intros for these lifestyle segments, as well.

Rebuilding Together

From April 2013 to January 2014, I assisted in the repairs of NY/NJ homes that were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. I worked alongside contractors and other volunteers with both outdoor and indoor tasks, including construction, gardening and painting.
